Privacy Policy
Trekkr is a backpacking loadout planner. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because the app does.
Information we collect
- Account email. When you create an account or sign in with Apple or Google, we store your email address so we can identify your account and sync your data across devices.
- Your gear and loadouts. The gear items, loadouts, quantities, and weights you enter are stored on our server and tied to your account so they are available when you sign in.
That is all. Trekkr does not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
How we use it
Your email and gear data are used only to operate the app: to authenticate you, save your inventory and loadouts, and sync them to your devices. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Sign in with Apple and Google
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, that provider confirms your identity and shares your email address with us to create or match your account. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Tracking
Trekkr does not track you across other apps or websites and includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and gear data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will remove it.
Children
Trekkr is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
